Tonia Cianciulli

Owner and Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying)

My approach to therapy is grounded in empathy, expertise, and a commitment to holistic healing. Whether helping a mother rediscover her identity, guiding an artist through creative blocks, or supporting a teen girl in finding her voice, my work fosters resilience, creativity, and self-compassion.

Currently completing my practicum at True Self Counselling in Toronto, I am pursuing my Registered Psychotherapist designation through Yorkville University. My certifications as a HeartMath Trainer, NLP Practitioner, and Doula/Birth Coach enrich my practice, allowing me to offer a multifaceted approach to emotional healing and growth.

As an artist and author, I understand the transformative power of creative expression. My two books, The Heart’s Obsession and Flick Your Heart-Light On, reflect my passion for storytelling and connection. My experience as a Singer-Songwriter and International Concert Performer deepens my understanding of the intersection between creativity, personal growth, and mental wellness. Programs like Wish Arts and An Artist’s Journey help me guide artists in navigating self-care and nervous system regulation.

As a homeschooling mother for nine years, I bring personal insight into the challenges and joys of motherhood. I honor the transformative journey of motherhood and life’s transitions, creating a safe and compassionate space for healing and growth. My mission is simple: to help you heal, thrive, and create with courage and intention.

Danielle Shoup

Psychotherapist

Welcome. I’m so glad you’re here.

Life moves in seasons, and as women, we’re often expected to navigate major transitions with quiet strength — even when we’re feeling overwhelmed, lost, or alone. As a psychotherapist and a mother who has personally experienced life’s many turning points — including trauma, separation, and the deep emotional shifts that come with personal transformation — I offer more than clinical expertise. I offer understanding, empathy, and real-life perspective.

I specialize in supporting women through all stages of life:

  • Fertility, pregnancy, and early motherhood

  • Parenting and identity shifts

  • Relationship struggles, separation, and divorce

  • Menopause and midlife transitions

  • Trauma recovery and emotional healing

You may be feeling anxious, stuck, emotionally exhausted, or unsure of who you are in this next chapter. Therapy provides a supportive, judgment-free space to unpack those feelings and reconnect with yourself.

My approach is warm, grounded, and tailored to your individual needs. I draw from evidence-based modalities, including:

  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) for shifting unhelpful thought patterns

  • Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) for managing intense emotions and building resilience

  • Person-Centered Therapy to help you feel seen, heard, and empowered

  • A trauma-informed lens that prioritizes safety, choice, and compassion

I believe that healing happens in the context of connection. My goal is to walk beside you — not as someone with all the answers, but as someone who understands the terrain and can help you find your own path forward.

If you're navigating a life transition, healing from the past, or simply longing for a deeper sense of self, I invite you to reach out. You don't have to go through this alone.
